On the bottom right of your Solo 2 DL there is an 8 pin connector that you can connect to the low voltage side of your coil. The peak can be anywhere from 150 to 400 V or from a square wave with a peak of 5 to 50 V. If you have a vehicle with no ECU or OBD-2 Port or a MSD ignition box, this is your easiest way to log RPM. By connecting the positive and negative wires, your Solo 2 DL unit will automatically top off the internal battery and power all down line appliances, such as SmartyCams and other powered devices.
